The pool at Maddens

We recently attended the Minnesota State Pastors Spring Conference (MN North & South Districts) held at Maddens on Gull Lake as a family. Being our first year here I wasn't sure what I and the kids would do while Adam was in meetings, but I just went along with the day as it came and everything was fine. Although it was a little chilly while we were there and of course the day we leave it was gorgeous out we had a good time and were able to meet up with some other guys Adam went to the Sem with. A couple of them, Christian Strickland and Sam Morsching met us at the pool. Here are some pool pictures, Miriam and I even sat on the edge, enjoying some pool water on our feet.

Another Melissa is Married

Last weekend the kids and I picked up Brenda & Mallory and made the trip to ND for our cousin Melissa's wedding. The way up was SUPER windy (along with some rain) and most everyone took a nap most of the way. The way back was a little different, Miriam had some problems she needed to tell us about, her crying woke Mallory who then eventually wanted out and began crying - all this going on my amazing Joshua continued to sleep! We finally figured it all out, Miriam finally went back to sleep but Mallory and Joshua were awake the rest of the trip home. Adam stayed back, but we were home in time to get some birthday celebrating in yet Sunday night.

Awhile back our stairs and upstairs hallway got new carpet, last week we had the same carpet go in all 3 bedrooms upstairs also! It looks great! This is a look in Miriam's room.

One day Joshua figured out he has the ability to take off the couch cushions. This became a daily activity, now this week not as much.
